Aim to Be the Solution: People Will Run to You

I know you’ve pretty much heard it a number of times before but hear it again… People gravitate towards the solution, whether in business, in improving their finances and health… and so on.

If you’re not the solution, the world will soon leave you behind; and when I say the “world”, that includes your prospects and even current clients.

So, you’re saying… How can I effectively become a problem solver, I am not trained for it?

You’re a born problem-solver.

You didn’t know?! You’ll thank me at the end of this post for pointing this out.

Whether it’s to help in improving systems or to help in improving relationships, it is important to figure out what you’re cut out for (based on knowledge, experience, expertise).

So, dear problem-solver who’s carved out a niche for themselves, whether in business, or otherwise…

How to Strategically Be the Solution

  1. Identify what the issue is. Don’t try to find a solution right away though. First identify and understand.
  2. Understand everyone’s interests. You might need to look at the situation from more than one angle and get why everyone is invested.
  3. What are your options? What is the possible solution(s)? See why you needed to understand the issue and interests first? Knowing the issue will birth the possible solutions.
  4. What are the pros and cons of these options? Can you and everyone else involved live/deal with the pluses and minuses of the solution path you’re thinking to tread, personally or as a business owner?
  5. Choose! The best solution option that will not just solve the problem but help you retain clients and give your teammates a reason to want to work with you every day.
  6. Create safety nets for when conditions and situation change. In business, nothing is carved in stone really, things can change – make sure you have some sort of plan prepared for when that happens.
  7. Win, one task at a time – that’s our slogan this year at The Kween Media.

I do hope this has been helpful.
